Tardis GIF

Everyone want’s to travel through the ‘wibbly wobbly timey wimey’ space vortex. When you are a fan of a show that you grew up watching thanks to your father and gran, using little aspects of these shows can help with any type of work. These little simple animations have been created using Adobe Firefox. Fireworks software takes some getting used to, it can be at first tricky but once you get started on the first one the rest flows into place. I used these simple colour’s for one the tardis is a nice big blue box, the purple, blue and black colour’s represent space by the galaxy. Overall, I truly had fun placing these animations together. They came out just the way I wanted them to.

This is a collection of my favourite Urban Photography images taken as part of Street Photography. They have each been edited up to standard on Adobe Photoshop Software. Each image shares a different story, a different lighting in the same setting. I was overwhelmed by the final outcome for each photograph.

Thank you to my sister, Hayley Jones and friend Maire McHugh for modeling for me

I will never say that I am an artist. However, designing this GIF was so much fun. I enjoyed using Adobe Fireworks in order to create a new animation about something that mean’s a lot to me. As a huge John Hughes fan, The Breakfast Club is one of my favourite films, I took the two characters who’s profiles were so similar and created this small simple GIF.

Moonlight Hour Cover

As a reader and a constant writer, who adores everything to do with books I took a photograph that I have taken and placed it into Adobe Photoshop. One in Photoshop I used various editing tools to create a book cover. From vibrance, brightness/contrast, levels I manipulated the image adding numerous layers to create the final cover. I was impressed with the overall finished image.

These two images show the stages of editing that has been created on using Adobe Photoshop. The first image shows the first version where the colour has been decreased and darkened. The second image then shows the complete change of image manipulation, where its been duplicated and placed as another layer on top of the original. It then shows darkened effects to show a eerie mood within the photograph. Opacity has also been changed and created with a different lighting to complete the image. I prefer the second and final image as it shows what I wanted to achieve.

distance details

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

After taking a selection of photographs, I liked the effect the freckles upon the face was creating within an image. I have chosen this image because it was one of my favourite. I have used Adobe Photoshop in order to change the effect of the image, where I have added detail to the freckles, enhancing them upon the face. The darkened colours and lighting have enhance how the image is displayed. I really liked how the final outcome has shown different feelings towards the image, the eyes looking into the distance, the nose ring, hair colour and the freckles. It makes me miss my freckles that just pop out during the summer.

Supernatural Genre Script Screenshot

A favourite genre of mine is the Supernatural, Paranormal genre. I am all for fiction. As a constant writer it brings more effect to a story having unusual characters to create a narrative. I created a supernatural short scene script, which shows my work using the description into a great depth to describe the scene. Description is a key point to master within a script, it sets the scene, setting, character profiles, actions and atmosphere. I am a sucker for good description writing, I even cringe at doing character speech.

I took the subject of both my cats to concentrate on within these images. I loved each personality they share and how it makes them unique. That just proves I am a cat person doesn’t it? Within these photographs the left side images are the originals, that capture the subject. Using Adobe Photoshop, I have edited the images in the correct way of what I wanted the outcome to reveal. The contrast, colour lighting, saturation, shadows and details all bring more light and field into the subjects within the photographs. I was overall happy with my final outcome, it just shows the cuteness of my cats.

Thank you Wilson and Ferris for posing for me.

Bill’s Book

Impressionable experiences or stories are incredibly difficult to narrow down. However, one that empowers me the most is one tale told by my Gran, Dorothy Cartwright. My Gran loved to speak of her family, she was proud of them although her husband, Lesley’s side casted her out from them. One of the people she was mostly proud of was her brother Bill Cartwright. Bill was a young writer who tried his very best to be successfully published. During this time when he was growing up he drank numerous amounts each day, which was vastly popular within that time period. He spent the most of his youth and young adulthood writing his novel, he expressed his cheeky personality into his writing. My Gran was always enlightened with Bill’s charisma, which made him into the cheeky chap he was. Bill and Dorothy grew up in the old homely home, which she still calls home. Her house holds many memories inside that have made my Gran into the most headstrong women I know. Numerous publishers, as my Gran recalls declined Bill’s book, regrettably by the explicit content that was bind in one book. In that year it was deeply frowned upon for any racy books to be written, it was unknowledgeable to anyone. This is saddening, as I would love with passion to read the words that Bill once brilliantly wrote. A writer’s personality and characteristics reflect within their work. My Gran never had the chance to read his book as it became missing and susceptibly remains with his own family. Bill died at a young age by a heart attack, this shown that he never had the happiness of any writers dream by being rightfully published. My Gran’s love for Bill and his passion for writing impressed my incredibly by sharing the same interests as myself. It is said it’s likely aspirations get passed down in generations.
